Is Birdr free?
Yes. Birdr is free on iPhone, Android and the web. Photo quizzes, country challenges and personalised practice do not require a paid subscription.
Does Birdr identify birds from a photo for me?
No. Birdr is a training app: you learn to identify birds yourself through quizzes and practice, rather than handing a photo to an automatic identifier.
Can I practise the birds of my country?
Yes. Start a photo quiz for a country list, or take a Country Challenge with levels from easy to expert. Birdr covers birders worldwide, not only Europe.
What is My Tricky Birds?
When you mix up species, Birdr remembers those trouble spots so you can practise the difficult birds and confusing pairs until they stick.
What are Flocks?
A Flock is a bird club or group on Birdr. Members play shared quizzes and see a leaderboard—useful for clubs, WhatsApp groups and trip companions.
