Ring-necked Dove vs Emerald-spotted Wood-Dove

The Ring-necked Dove and Emerald-spotted Wood-Dove can be distinguished by their wing markings and habitat preferences. The Emerald-spotted Wood-Dove has distinctive iridescent green spots on its wings, while the Ring-necked Dove lacks these and is more uniformly colored.
